Technical heating guide
Radiant Floor Heating Repair
Radiant systems depend on correct flow, water temperature, balancing, controls, pumps, mixing, and air removal. Slow or uneven heat requires system-level diagnosis.
Uneven rooms or loops
Flow imbalance, air, actuator issues, manifold restrictions, sensor placement, floor-covering changes, or control settings can affect individual areas.
Temperature control
Some radiant systems require mixing or reset control to protect floors and deliver stable comfort. A boiler running does not guarantee correct loop temperature.
Thermal response
Radiant floors respond more slowly than forced air. Diagnosis should distinguish normal thermal lag from a true flow or control fault.
