Circulator Pump Service
A circulator can run and still fail to move enough water. Electrical demand, rotation, differential pressure, air, valves, check valves, system resistance, and control logic all matter.
Symptoms of poor circulation
No heat in one or more zones, boiler temperature climbing quickly, noise, short cycling, or large supply-return temperature differences may point to flow issues.
Pump replacement is not the first test
Confirm the call for heat, control output, voltage, current, valve position, air condition, and hydraulic path before condemning the pump.
Correct pump selection
Replacement should match required flow and head, fluid type, temperature, control method, flange or connection size, and system design.
What to send before the visit
- Clear photo of the rating plate and model number
- Photo or exact wording of any error code
- Whether the issue affects space heating, hot water, or both
- When the problem started and whether a reset temporarily restores operation
- Your city and preferred service timing
